Wardha


 Wardha  is a city and a municipal council in Wardha district in the Indian state of Maharashtra. It is the administrative headquarters of Wardha district. This city gets gets its name from the Wardha River which flows at the North, West and South boundaries of district. Founded in 1866, the town is now an important centre for the cotton trade. It was an important part of Gandhian Era.

Kelzer
There is a Varad Vinayak’s   (Lord Ganesh ) temple at Kelzer which is also known as one of the Ganesh temple from Ashtavinayaka in Vidarbha region. The Sculpture of Lord Ganesha is found in the past period of Arya.

Gitai Mandir (Temple)
This is the mandir where Vinoba’s Gitai became perpetual. Vinoba Bhave translated the Bagwat Gita in the book Gitai. For this purpose number of polished stones are brought from different places and arranged vertically in shape of cow and 18 ‘Shlokas’ (sections) of the Gita are engraved on it. This temple is unlike to the general temple. It has no ceiling, no walls.


Gandhi Gyan Mandir
It is a public library opposite to Bajajwadi.  Various books written by Mahatma Gandhi and books written on him are available here. In addition this, the valuable collection of literature, Economics, Politics, Social Sciences and other subject can be referred.

In the year 1934, Mahatma Gandhi came at Wardha. He selected the Segao as his functioning land with Shri Jamanalal Bajaj. Further the Shegaon renamed as Sewagram. Afterward Wardha district is found more important not only in India but
Kasturba medical collge: The name of the institute itself speaks of its historical roots. Originally sewagram renamed as seogaon Shegaon, now known as Sevagram. In 1944, sewagram ashram started. In 1938, Dr Sushila Nayar, then a young medical graduate, came to Sevagram to meet her brother Pyarelal. Pyarelal was Gandhi's secretary and a link to Dr. Nayar's association with the Mahatma. Born on 26th December 1914, in Kunjah (Gujarat), now in Pakistan, Sushila was just another girl from a middle class family. It was by her sheer grit and dedication that she later on carved a national position and contributed immensely to the society.

          Agnihotri College of Engineering is located at Wardha. Agnihotri College of Engineering (ACE), Wardha, Maharashtra, is one pioneering educational institute under the umbrella of Jai Mahakali Shikshan Sanstha (JMSS, Wardha). The college was established in 2009 by visionary philanthropist Pt. Shri Shankarprasadji Agnihotri.
   
Sai mandir establish in 1971.this temple is nice .The idea of constructing athis temple like Shirdi Mandir temple located in Dhantoli. So many people are visit to this temple this temple  believed that Shri Saibaba is having his blessings on this Temple. The endeavor is made to propagate the teachings of Saibaba through programs and cultural activities.






Anad wan located at 5 kilometres from Warora in Chandrapur district in the state of Maharashtra, India, this is known as an ashram, and a community rehabilitation centre for leprosy patients and the disabled from downtrodden sections of society. Baba Amte developed Anandwan to be a self-contained ashram Residents are self-sufficient in terms of basic subsistence through agriculture. Baba Amte also shaped Anandwan as an environmentally aware community to have practices in place for energy utilization, waste recycling and minimizing usage of natural resources that might otherwise lead to their depletion.
